Irish scored once in the 9th inning to tie the game but should have/could have won it then. After scoring 1 run, they loaded the bases with no out, then one batter struck out and the next lined into a double play. Cold, windy day and they didn't finish until around 8 pm. Long day of ball -- 23 innings. Pitt won in a walk-off in bottom of 12th.

a better plan to get home the go ahead run with no outs and bases loaded. Granted the line drive DP to first to end the inning was unfortunate but we need to realize the team's offensive limitations better. By the way someone also needs to teach these guys how to throw strikes. Defense...oh just forget I started.
