Va. Tech took a 7-5 lead in the 12th, and then ND scored 3 in the bottom of the 12th to win, 8-7. A 2-run, 2-out, bases loaded single by Eric Gilgenbach was the game winner. I had friends at this game, so I am pleased they saw an Irish win.
