Pitt left the bases loaded in the 9th.

..but still is a pretty pathetic 22-24, 11-14 in the ACC.

Why is Mik Aoki still ND's baseball coach?

Jack will cite this as reason to keep him *

ND has actually won 7 of 8 and 7 of 9. All 9 of those games have been at home, against the following opponents:

3 vs. Va. Tech (8-16 ACC, 20-26 overall, # 114 RPI)
1 vs. Valpo (5-8 MVC, 15-25 overall, # 184 RPI)
3 vs. BC (6-19 ACC, 15-29 overall, # 163 RPI)
1 vs. WMU (8-9 MAC, 19-20 overall, # 213 RPI)
1 vs. Pitt (10-12 ACC, 25-18 overall, # 99 RPI)

The Saturday and Sunday games versus Pitt will end the 2018 home schedule for ND. There will be 4 road games left -- 1 at Northwestern (4-15 Big Ten, 14-26 overall, # 224 RPI) and 3 at Louisville (11-11 ACC, 31-14 overall, # 38 RPI). ND is # 101 in the RPI rankings.

Oh, I know and totally agree

That was the basis of my post, although poorly phrased.
