...and 4-1 against Canisius, UIC and Northwestern, that would put ND at 28-25 and 17-13 (ACC) heading into the conference tournament.

Given the strength of the conference, I'd say that puts you at least in the argument for a NCAA berth, should you not go 2 and out in the ACC tournament.

Of course, that would guarantee a full decade of the Bob Davie of Irish baseball.
