Indiana is the only OOC opponent with a 2019 RPI higher than 100. (ND was 103rd, lower than all other ACC teams except Pitt at 194.)

Kent State is a better program than ND right now (let's hope not much longer?), and ND has found a way to struggle mightily at the start of seasons. That is something Mainieri never had trouble with, but ever since it's been pretty bad. I assume between UAB and the Alamo Classic they'll be doing well if they're around .500.

I will be pleasantly surprised if ND baseball goes 16-8 in OOC play.

That is how cynical and jaded I have become regarding the program's lack of success since Paul Mainieri left in 2006.
