in my opinion, did a very good job calling the game as he saw it without any or very much favoritism for his team. Sometimes watching men and women's basketball games or any sport on the ACC network the home announcers have been over the top admiring their own. I think the ND announcers tend to be that way too.

I was following the game on line and saw that Sheehan was lifted with two on, none out and a 2-0 count on the batter. It's unusual to see a pitcher pulled in that situation unless he’s hurt.
