Carson Tinney tied the school record for home runs in a season (I'm guessing it was set by current ND frosh Radek Bierkholtz last year) with this bomb off of the batter's eye in center. The kid he hit it off of is no slouch, either; Tyler Mejia is an Oregon State commit and a really good player on both sides of the ball.

Tinney has loads of potential; it will be interesting to see where he ends up. He's not pitching for Valor because of injury concerns, I believe, but he's been on the gun at 92 in the summer/fall and he has a nasty slider as well.
