congratulations, wishing the best for him.

I coached a kid about a decade ago who ended up at Kansas and did okay there. He had hurt his knee in the state championship football game but played later that year in baseball anyway; if he didn't hit the ball out, he just jogged over to first base and they'd pinch run for him. Damndest thing. He had some real holes in his swing, but he could hit the ball a mile.

He had a lot of contacts from colleges all over the country. We haven't had a chance to talk about all the specifics but he seems good with it.

We'll see if he gets any attention in the draft coming up.

I guess I need to buy a Kansas cap.
