PWM Registered Associate

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Registered Associate enhances the client experience by providing exceptional client service, supporting Branch functions as needed, assisting in safeguarding client assets, and serving as administrative and operational support to Financial Advisors. The Registered Associate is responsible for understanding firm policies, procedures and digital capabilities that will allow them to interact with Financial Advisor teams as well as new and existing clients. In order to perform daily business activities, the Registered Associate is required to have active Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) Licenses.

Responsibilities

• Client interaction: interact with clients and client related persons both over the phone and via e-mail correspondence. It is expected that Registered Associate is always polite and upbeat when speaking with clients and/or client related persons, as well as internal contacts.
• Client Requests: responsible for fielding and handling client requests including money movement, trades, account maintenance and general inquiries. Requests should be immediately acknowledged and completed quickly and correctly.
• Account Maintenance: monitor all account changes and cash balances several times a day. Responsible for making sure accounts are not negatively impacted and should proactively search for any potential issues.
• Travel and Expenses: Expected to handle Private Wealth Advisor travel and expense reports in a timely manner so that PWA travel is coordinated in advance and their expenses are submitted and reimbursed under the polices and guidelines.
• Independent Initiatives: Expected to proactively seek answers to questions, develop an internal network of contacts, and research topics that are useful for PWAs.

Qualifications include:

• Strong academically: 3.5+ GPA
• Superior organizational and interpersonal skills
• Critical thinking mentality
• Ability to work effectively both independently and also on a team
• Superior organizational, prioritizing, and time management skills required

Qualifications / Requirements:
· High school diploma required. In pursuit of college degree preferable.
· At least 18 years of age.
· Internships are intended to be positions that are for limited duration, with a maximum duration ten months.
· Strong desire to gain further understanding of the global wealth management business.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
· Ability to work on a team.
· Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret.
