but so did Tua. He was the odds on favorite all season, it was his to lose and I guess you could say that is what he did, lose it by the performance in the SECCG.

I do wonder though if he was a victim of Alabama fatigue, when presented with 2 great candidates that the voters chose the guy not from Alabama.

At certain points in the year Alabama reminded me of the 1992 USA Olympic basketball team. That basketball team was so good that *I* could have won a gold medal with USA Basketball that year because that team only needed 4 players. I could have been the 5th starter, and I could have just stayed in the offensive end in order to pick cherries, or even gone into the stands to buy beer for the guys.

Similarly, Alabama has looked so dominant this year that many of the Heisman voters, especially the QBs like Roger Staubach, Peyton Manning, Steve Spurrier or Andre Ware probably said "hell, I could suit up and play QB at Alabama right now".


Or voters saw him against the only elite team Alabama played
