will be his competition as Murray's backup has decided to move on to somewhere else.

According to this though, Rattler was told OU wouldn't take a transfer or any other QB. I have no idea if Rattler is in the same class talent wise as Trevor Lawrence but if he is Hurts could be back to #2 by midseason, just like Kelly Bryant.

Trevor Lawrence, if you believe in advanced stats/anlaytics, is the greatest true freshman quarterback in college football history.
