Foolish timeout by the Chiefs with 1:30 left in the half
by Kayo (2019-01-20 19:49:59)

3rd and 4. Patriots weren't going to call timeout. It's nice if you get the stop, the ball, and a chance to score before halftime; but if you don't get the stop, you gave the Patriots extra time to score before halftime.

The Chiefs get the ball to start the seconf half. Down 7 at halftime wouldn't be so bad.

BS. There is no way you could overturn that. *

Either actually enforce the irrefutable rule or just change

In my defense

I posted that it was foolish when he called the timeout, not adter the touchdown. In my world, down seven at home and getting the ball to start the second half is a break not to be taken lightly after being dominated throughout the first half.

Never trust Reid’s clock mgmt *

It was a Mike McCarthy-type call.

If the Chiefs lose, it will be Andy Reid's 5th loss in six (6) conference championship games. Marty Schottenheimer can only marvel.

Sure enough. Pats TD with 27 seconds left. *
