If I am wrong and they win it next year, I will wear Michigan Gear for a month.

Enough folks here know me and see my IG to be able to hold me to it.

Cheer up Wooderson. Brady nearly won 9 Superbowls. 6 is

still pretty good. There is still about a 33% percent they will win a 7th next year.

Went to the game, it was awesome. Atlanta did a great job hosting. A week of good times down here. Met McCourty brothers when we were out at dinner Friday. Met Troy Brown at a Patriots bar on Saturday.

Met Joe Montana at the pregame tailgate thing. During a QA I asked him “Joe, I went to ND as well, and I’m conditioned to hate all things Michigan, but I love Tom Brady, where do you rank him in the history of the NFL QBs?” He deadpanned. “I rank him last! (To a big laugh from crowd) “ Joe then went to talk about so hard in different eras, Otto Graham etc. And he was candid, jokey about, its tough, and he’s competitive and not going to say Tom is better than him or he’s better than Tom, just like he wouldn’t expect Brady to say that.

I’d trade them all for an ND title.

But man, this is like the Bill Russell Celtics to be honest. Didn’t win them all, but won enough.

Brady MIGHT have a full season in him next year. We’ll see. Gronk is probably gone, we’ll need to draft well to keep things going.

Also, It’s pretty obvious at this point that Belicheck is the best coach to ever hold that position in the League.

Me too. *

In the history of the major four American sports. What he has accomplished in this era or parity is incredible. His accomplishments cannot be overstated.

On the other hand- this is part of the reason Tom Brady will forever be the most overrated professional athlete of all time. I can think of at least ten quarterbacks I'd take over TB if I were tasked with starting a team and could grab a QB from any era. He is a great player, but he was dealt a hand that no one else in professional sports has ever and will ever see.

Consider this, for example:

When Peyton Manning missed a year with injury, the Colts went from a team that was averaging 12.2 wins over the previous five years to 2-14.

When Tom Brady missed a year with injury, the Patriots went from a team that was averaging 13.2 wins over the previous five years to 11-5.

Belichick *is* the Patriots dynasty. Brady could've been replaced by a number of quarterbacks and they'd have done the same thing, or possibly accomplished more.

You arent giving Brady enough credit. He was MVP

last year at age 40 and threw for 505 yards in the Super Bowl. Belichicks defense couldn’t stop a second string QB with 2 weeks to prepare.
System/Schmistem—if the offense allows a mediocre QB to succeed so much why don’t all of the teams that perianally suck copy it?

You also can’t take a sample year of 1, the year Brady was hurt, and use that as evidence.

Would Brady have had the same success with Marvin Lewis, of course not.

It’s been an amazing duo, they are the constants.

C'mon Woody. Next Sox parade is in 8 months. *

It is just funny how elevated the expectations are around here given the success Boston teams have had over the past 10 years.

Boston teams were probably better 2000-2010 than 2010-2020. *
