He probably believes in the viability of the league about as much as I do which is I don't.

If someone is going throw you money to not work for a year+ wouldn't you take it.
To be fair, that has to be an easier job than HC at ND

Being that there were so many tea-leaf readers here on these boards willing to concede that Stoops was far too afraid of his own mortality to ever consider coaching again,.

This is exactly how coaching missed opportunities happen.
