out recruit anyone for 5 stars? Do they have any? If so, why would they go to a midwest school in the Big 10 that annually loses big to their rival and can not get to the B1G championship? Is it a top 10 class?

ND recruits at the level of Nebraska and Arkansas. Therefore, the results last year exceeded the recruiting results.

Well that's not true

ND is not recruiting at the level of Nebraska and Arkansas. Last 5 years of recruiting rankings (Rivals):

ND - 11, 13, 11, 11, 14 (avg 12.4)
Neb - 31, 24, 20, 21, 16 (avg 22.4)
Ark - 25, 30, 24, 61, 20 (avg 32)

ND is recruiting solidly above the level of Nebraska, and significantly above the level of Arkansas

For what it's worth, here's Michigan's:

Mich - 49, 4, 4, 24, 10 (avg 18.2)

Yes, they do have 2 top 5 classes. They also have 2 out of their last 5 classes that would be considered a disaster around these parts.
