ironic from a coach who just looked at a new job

and will probably use it to get a better deal himself. So I guess it is okay for a coach to look around but not okay for a player to look around.

It seems like coaches want it their way when they can use the portal opp as an excuse when a kid they don't want/need uses it but ant to intimidate some players from using it.

I'm not crazy about the growing number of these kind of transfers, but the way it was was much worse. I like the recent suggestion from someone that any player gets on transfer without sitting out.
