(Although he didn’t see game action until 2005.) J.J. Jansen, long snapper for the Panthers.
I went to Rivals, and could not find Janen's name in the lists of the 2003, 2004, and 2005 recruits.
so I am assuming he was a walk-on before that.
for this long. Good for him.
Not a bad living and almost enough to buy a house in the Bay Area
Kizer remains 0-15 as a starter in the NFL. Interesting to note that Nathan Peterman beat him out.
if he'd have stayed with the quarterback whisperer one more year.
can't remember for sure. There is no way he would have gotten a degree at tOSU without returning after his football career to finish.
There's a chance his football career may have been better served playing for Meyer in CBus. I don't think anyone would dispute that he'd have received better coaching there. But, I have a feeling he'd have had a tougher time beating out Cardale Jones and J.T. Barrett than he had getting the job at ND. I hope his decision to go to ND pays off as his football life comes to a close and he moves on to the next chapter.
I see he was on the Broncos roster last year but did not play
are the only ND alums who are still active in the NFL who have never played for Brian Kelly.
