died in July 1979 at the age of 53 (heart attack).

This current decade is the only one where we have a losing

record against the SEC, but until 1970, the only two SEC teams we played were Georgia Tech or Tulane, neither of who are in the SEC anymore. The only SEC team we have a losing record against is Georgia (0-3).
