Unlikely. Boosters have rolled the dice on players forever

This is just a legal form of boosters buying recruits. They took the same risks before. They will keep doing it. They simply stop paying kids that don’t pan out. They continue to be willing to spend on new ones knowing some are a bust and money wasted year one on them.
