If it was at Columbus, then it was in 1995. I doubt it's when they came to ND in 1996; I would remember that. There are only 2 other times ND has played since then:

- 2006 - met in the Fiesta Bowl in Tempe, AZ. The media was super-focused on the fact that Brady Quinn's sister Laura was dating AJ Hawk at the time (who she eventually married). Laura showed up in a half-ND/half-OSU jersey. AJ Hawk sacked Brady twice.

- 2016 - Another Fiesta Bowl meeting in Glendale, AZ. Another ND loss.
