Probably isn't too much longer for the world. I honestly don't see the SEC continuing the two-division format once Oklahoma and Texas join. That would create the effect, at least in football, of having two conferences under one roof.
Most likely scenario going forward: no divisions, nine conference games, three protected rivalries for every program, rest of conference schedule consists of six on/six off among non-protected rivals. I think LSU's protected rivals will be Alabama, Ole Miss and Texas A&M.
Edit to add: If SEC does continue with two divisions, likely scenario is as follows: Oklahoma and Texas go into SEC West; Alabama and Auburn move to SEC East from SEC West; Missouri moves to SEC West from SEC East. So LSU would lose both Alabama and Auburn as divisional rivals in that event.
