ND/Navy Tickets
by bigwave96 (2023-03-12 11:53:18)

I'm taking B1 on his first trip to Ireland to watch ND play at Aviva, but I'm really struggling to find tickets that aren't tied to some type of unwanted package. I've contacted my local ND club but I don't know if they'll get an allotment. I've considered buying 2 season tix but there isn't an option to buy Navy game tickets like there are for Shamrock series games or bowl games (that I can locate).

Do any of you have insight or an avenue by which I can simply purchase 2 tickets without spending over $1,000?

They were on sale on Navy’s web site

They're supposed to open ticket only packages at the end of March. It's possible there will be something then.

If you know someone in the eu they have non us ticket packages opening soon as well. I think these will slightly less egregious.

I still need to figure stuff out as well, but I remember last time there were more than a few options.

I can’t help. But since you mentioned season tix, I am

curious about them. How does it and/or the alumni lottery work these days? Back before I wrote my letters of protest to the Fellows and announced I was going to stop attending ND games (late 2016), season tickets were something really old alums had or you could do a game by game lottery. Now around that time there was some expensive group called the Sorin Society (or something like that) which maybe gave you season tickets.

How does it work these days? Is there still a game by game lottery for alums? Does it occur after these season tickets requests that now “anyone” can buy?

Obviously the brand is so much stronger than it’s ever been, so I’m curious. Thanks!

Go Irish!

Game is controlled by a third party

Nd basically sold the game to Anthony Travel as the Aer Lingus Classic (last year was Northwestern vs Nebraska). So while an ND home game, we don’t have the regular control over the tickets. Plus, it’s a small stadium. And, because it’s an ND game, Navy doesn’t have the tickets they would normally control.

The ND lottery results come out this Friday, so tickets will start to “hit the streets” a little bit more as people see what they get. Those tickets were $200 or $300 a pop.

Tough to say hang tight for a few, but that may be best for now. They will start to come available a bit more.

Just one guy’s opinion. And I did NOT stay at a holiday inn express last night.
