three months after transfering to Iowa from Alabama. Apparently he did get an NIL deal from a car dealership in Iowa City during his brief stint there, though.

The NCAA's head in the sand approach has brought us here.

I don't fault the kid for taking advantage of the system.

GT was playing Clemson when Paul Johnson was the coach and Demaryius (Bay Bay) Thomas was playing WR. Some GT fans behind us were very frustrated with Johnson's offense and usage of Thomas. At one point, one of them said "If I was Bay Bay, I'd call timeout and transfer right now."

GT won the game. Looking at the box score, this must've been said in the late 3rd/early 4th quarter when Clemson had made a comeback from down 24 to take the lead.
If my coach was Ty or BK, I would be tempted to do just that *
