Clarification for "dismissed" from the team.

It means they're likely still in school, but will all look to transfer.

I don't see any indication that they'd ever play for ND again.

He only has the authority to control the team.

To expulsion. For the majority of the players, at least.

That could backfire

If the kid paid his own way and stayed enrolled, I think he'd continue to count against the scholarship limit.

Is he going to pay full freight just to spite BK?

That's a lot of pocket change when he could be picked up somewhere else and continue his education (if he is so inclined).

IrishSportsDaily confirmed the other 3 are still enrolled, but was unable to confirm that Stepherson was still a student at ND.

Committing two crimes in two days — when already on thin ice — would get anyone expelled. That assumes Stepherson is guilty. If he’s not, then ignore this.

Then he can gegin semester as a normal student with nonrefundable tuition. Then get kicked out after payment in full is received.

Also, what happens to their scholarships?

I know that ND will honor the scholarships of players who have to leave the team for medical reasons. But what about this situation... when they are off the team, but (as far as we know) still going to classes?

My guess is that scholarships extend through May
