Did anyone else purchase their tickets through SeatGeek?

I may have pulled the trigger a bit too fast in buying tickets for the Cotton Bowl, but I got excited since I have family in Dallas. I probably should have checked with my wife first, but she was out running errands when the playoff seeds were announced and I didn't want to risk the price swelling that occurred back in 2012 with the champion game.

So of course I find out that attending the game isn't feasible, and now I cannot resell them through SeatGeek, which was pretty much the entire point of me using that app in the past: the ability to resell them through the app.

Now they're telling me I can't resell them since I don't have the physical tickets themselves (which won't be sent to me in Kansas City until the 27th!), nor will they even consider doing anything in the way of issuing a refund. This feels insane to me, has anyone else had experience dealing with these jackasses?
