This link of our recruits still shows him as a 4-star. And it still shows ND sitting at the kids table at #14 in the nation.
Tim has been touting Hamilton every since he signed.
And he can eat a bag of dicks.
He gets no credit here. People in recruiting circles have been saying since we were recruiting him that he was very good.
They all do their own thing where they grade each commitment and all three of the major ND sites covering ND said from day one he was a 5 star talent.
A lot of times they list their upside rankings purely as spin trying to keep people interested even though the class is not all that good. In this instance the view on him was over the top by everyone that the rankings for him were dramatically off.
I live in his area, so I was also seeing stories on him in local papers -- which doesn't happen for 3 star level recruits.
Mike in particular was shocked by his 3 star rating. Called him the best player in the class when he was the lowest ranked one.
I kid, I kid.
