Wimbush is likely to start for UCF this season

Feel bad for the kid getting hurt, but happy for Brandon to get a shot.

*Sorry if this should be on Cartier but it’s offseason, he’s an alum and this board probably gets more traffic.

Great news *

Notre Dame could play UCF in the Cotton Bowl

If things break the right way. It would make for an interesting story.

Doubtful. Brandon has a better chance than ND though.

At 8 or 9 wins, it looks like another Citrus Bowl for the irish.

Have we ever played in the Citrus bowl? Not

That I can remember. Pinstripe Bowl, yes.

ND and Citrus Bowl Selection rules

Normally, the Citrus bowl picks a team from SEC and a team from B1G. However, if the Orange bowl is not a playoff bowl and picks a a B1G team, then the Citrus bowl can pick an ACC team. For bowl selection, Notre Dame is considered an ACC team. When we played LSU in the Citrus Bowl, Wisconsin went to the Orange bowl, thereby allowing the Citrus bowl to pick ND.

Yes, after the 2017 season against LSU.

It may have been called something else though.

How could anyone forget Miles’s game-winning catch-and-juke?

He seems like a great guy and is a very talented player

If his coach structures the offense to maximize his talents (rather than an offense for 1978 vintage Joe Montana) then he should do well on the field.

Excellent. This is a fine young man and a fellow alum.

I'm on his side in (almost) any circumstances.

Ditto. Go Brandon! *

That situation would be very hard to handle.

I feel for him, and especially for his family at home or in the stands.
