Swarbrick's record against at-the-time Top 10 opponents is

3-10. The 3 wins were Mich St and OU in 2012 and Stanford last year. IMO our futility against good opponents needs to be placed at his feet rather than Kelly's. We know what we have with Kelly, and he's doing the best he knows how. Swarbrick, OTOH, simply doesn't care about this continuing ineptitude. Hell, he calls it "great."

Perhaps it’s not Swarbrick. Perhaps he's almost as much a

symptom as is Kelly. If the PTB had wanted a change, I think Swarbrick is enough of a chameleon and toadie that he would have acted as directed. But he’s already praised the emperor’s clothes; it’s too late for him to change horses now. And there’s nothing driving him to do so.

Laying the state of the program at Swarbrick’s feet is misguided, he’s just another mouthpiece. The revenue is strong, the brand is strong. Nothing will change as long as that’s the case.
And it won’t change anytime soon, as evidenced by the buzz around the Georgia game, NBC’s renewal of the contract in 2007 and 2013, the contract with Vivid, the $10k crystal helmets, and the “game used” cuff links.

There’s one born ever minute. That’s a big problem.

1-10. The 2012 wins were vacated due to academic scandal. *

Not a good point - vacating those wins was a joke

I am not a Jack fan, but not counting the vacated wins doesn’t make sense. Then again, 3-10 isn’t good either

Used ineligible players.

I’m amazed at how many fans think we shouldn't’ vacate the wins. We won games with players we now know, with 100% certainty, were ineligible.

You are a bright one *

The complete lack of accountability at ND is the real joke.

As long as there weren't too many tutors doing school work for athletes, as long as there weren't too many ineligible athletes playing for ND, as long as we don't lose games by too much, as long as were not too involved with enabling sexual abuse with USA Gymnastics, then it's all pretty unremarkable.
