SIAP, has there been any indication on how many 2020 kids

ND is planning to sign? They stand at 17, might end up with a grad transfer coming in at safety. Mostly all I am seeing is the great 2021 class that they are building on the offensive side.

I'm not sure how they can take more.

Check my math, but I believe there are 84 players on scholarship. 10 players exhaust eligibility this year assuming both Hayes an Crawford return. If they get the grad transfer, they'll be at 75 before adding any recruits.

I expect 1 or 2 grad transfers, and there are always a few transfers for guys who have bee passed up. However, it's going to be close getting down to 85.

...having said that, it typically seems to work.

He has announced that he will not be applying for a sixth year of eligibility
