According to the UCLA beat writer for the LA Times

Under Armour has informed UCLA's athletic department that it intends to get out of its $280MM apparel deal. UCLA's AD said they will fight to keep the contract in place.

Not sure what the root is, but I'd wager that the $325+MM in restructuring costs that UA announced has something to do with it.

Fortunately for UA, much of their deal with us was paid

Up front with (now) nearly worthless stock options.

Would be nice for Swarbrick to provide a little transparency

On how ND fared in its contract with UnderArmour.

I’ve been wrong before but

I’m pretty sure the lack of transparency tells us exactly how ND has fared in the UA contract. If it was anything resembling good we’d have heard all about it.

Swarbrick & transparency in the same sentence? Unremarkable *
