From the ND release:

“Junior wide receiver Kevin Austin had successful foot surgery Monday, August 3, after being injured during football related activities on Wednesday, July 29. Surgery was completed by Dr. Brian Ratigan and Dr. James Flynn to repair a fifth metatarsal on his left foot. Austin is expected to return to action this fall.”
