How safe is Wake's position in the ACC?

How safe is Wake's position in the ACC?

As a fourth NC team, with a small student body/alumni base, that generally sucks at football (and basketball), they really bring absolutely nothing to the conference. Is there any chance the ACC kicks them to the curb in favor of West Virginia? What mechanisms are in place to prevent this from happening?
