of the game, I have been meaning to mention that the XFL has done a really creative job in making the kickoffs safer; basically, one guy lines up deep, one guy kicks, and the remaining players face off about (I think) 15 yards in front of the return man and are not allowed to move until he catches the ball. Just a great idea that makes the kick return a lot more fun without the dangerous collisions from guys sprinting 50 yards downfield and running into someone full speed. I would also argue for it on punts, but I can understand not wanting to change that part of the game yet. I also like the fact that there are no onside kicks but rather in the 4th quarter you can do a 4th and 15 and if you make it you keep the ball.

They also have eliminated extra points (good) and added a 3 point conversion. I don't know if they're going to make it as a league (doubt it) but they're really getting creative and hopefully these changes are implemented in all levels of the game soon.
