But half the field is shut down
A battle I fully expect him to win.
why you do not throw to his man. Not only was he swaddling the guy like a baby blanket he almost came up with a circus one handed interception that most CBs can’t even dream of reaching. I have not seen someone like him at ND.
Bobby Taylor was also extremely unique but a different type of CB. Tom Carter had the wheels to make some unbelievable plays. Benjamin Morrison has a similar skill set in terms of staying with his man. Shane Walton had elite instincts. I think Moore is more dominant than all of them. He is on another planet.
No double moves on him. He ain’t gonna fall for the banana in the tailpipe.
Morrison staying healthy his final year is one of my big "What ifs..."
I don’t know if they ever were in at the same time.
I remember going to the Navy game in New Jersey and watched him run down a Navy receiver almost from the two thirds towards the other side of the field to save a sure touchdown, and thinking of Allen Rossum doing the same about 27 years earlier. It was eye-popping. I think it was only the first or second game he started after Morrison’s injury.
I have fond memories of John Krimm and Dave Duerson from my undergraduate days. I must say Leonard Moore is in a class of his own.
both being Muncie North products.
against 5 interceptions. I don't recall Wisconsin targeting him more than once, and that was a near interception.
