We did visit the railroad tracks though . . . tried locating King’s childhood home on Reid too, but couldn’t get an address number.

They seemed understaffed and frazzled (it was full of ND fans), but food was lower-quality overall and took forever to arrive . . . when it did, wife had to send back her filet and prawns. Her steak was way underdone and generally looked like a chain restaurant steak, as did my ribeye (tasted fine, but not impressive by any stretch). Her prawns all looked like they had been thawed and gelatinous-looking on one end (generally unappetizing, she was grossed out and didn’t order anything else). Son’s wagyu burger was rare at best and sent it back (he liked their 2nd attempt better, but it was a burger).

Wine list was below average, although after walking into the place (attached to the Cobblestone Hotel), we realized it was not a place where Domaine Serene would be served. Cheese curds are an appetizer item, if that says anything. They also apparently couldn’t make a spicy skinny margarita for wife (instead brought something that tasted like lemonade and tequila). Manager came out and was very apologetic, which we appreciated.

It was somewhere between an Applebees and Ruth’s Chris in quality (neither of which I like). We wouldn’t go there again.
