Great season, despite the tough way to end it. Hats off to UMD, definitely the better team for most of the game.

Losing a couple of key guys, mainly Evans and Gross, but the personnel is there for another run at it in 18-19.

UMD played a great game -- credit to them.

I felt like we were off all night -- whatever the hockey version of "on our heels" is. Still, with 2 minutes left in the 3rd, I thought we had them right where we wanted. Alas -- not tonight.

Yep. This was the closest to a national championship yet. *
