play our worst hockey after the holiday break. Going into the holidays, we were 8-1. Now 2 bad losses in a row. scUM had not won a game in their last 9 outings, and Minn. was a sub .500 team until they won easily in our house.
This is not an anomaly, as it seems to be a trend with coach Jackson's teams. Last year, we had 13 straight wins going into the break, and were 4-6-1 from 1/21-2/24.
2015-16 we were 1-6 to end the season.
2014-15 we were 2-5-1 in January
2013-14 we lost our last game heading into break, our first game back from break, and were 1-4 from 1/24-2/4
2012-13 we had won 6 straight going into break,but were 2-7-2 in Jan.
I don't know the reason for this trend, but I would certainly hope we can reverse this in the future.
Sorry for the rant, just FRUSTRATED!
