I've been watching bad video clips of Makar for 3 years going back to his days with the Brooks Bandits of the AJHL and badgering every hockey fan I know about how good I thought he was going to be, especially fellow Avs fans after they drafted him. Roenick's comments (to Ryan Harris who has an afternoon show on one of the Denver sports stations) made even me blush. He may be setting the bar just a tad high for the kid. It makes Beano on Powlus seem tame.

his mouth can get "enthusiastic" the same way that Pierre's does. As I said previously, Makar's going to be good. He also has things to learn and opponents will start getting a video library. There were a couple of goals late in the SJS series where he was out of position on his guy in the D Zone. As we know, nobody's perfect.
