canning Barry Trotz seems to be a bit of a surprise. They sucked this year but that was due in large part to the biggest covid outbreak among NHL teams and the ridiculous 13 game road trip to start the season when their arena was not ready for the first month of the season. He led the Islanders to more success than any coach in 30 seasons.
