Yeah, just an off-the-cuff shot at the Canucks.

As I already said, no quarrel with any of the three.

If it worked that way — and it doesn’t and shouldn’t — if the Canucks get three, the Hawks should get at least six.

But beyond Hossa, Kane, Duncan Toews and Keith, Sharp and Seabrook are the only other possibilities.

Unless they completely throw traditional offensive stats out for D-men, in which case Hjalmarsson would be worth the ink for a longshot candidacy column.

He was so smart, so positionally perfect in his own end and such a good outlet passer. His game was effortless and subtly beautiful.

Sharp and Seabrook would be Harold Baines-esque. They’re good enough players, but not HOF worthy.
