Irish outshot 13-7 and killed off both OSU power plays.

Notre Dame spent 6 minutes of the second period on the PP and went 0-3. They managed just 8 shots in the period despite those PPs. In the 6 minutes with the man advantage I believe Notre Dame managed a total of ZERO shots on goal. Zero. How is that even possible?

Irish owe Bishel big time. Faced 37 shots and stopped them all. Notre Dame played basically zero offense in the third period. Not much more offense in periods 1 or 2 either.

I'm surprised ND won, with the shot differential. Goalie won

the game - as you said he was unconscious, turning away 37 shots.

They attempted 3, all were either off target or were blocked.

In 3rd Period OSU outshot ND 19 to 3. This is a win that was

not deserved, except for the heroics of ND's Goalie. Total shot differential for the game was 37 to 18 for OSU - ND was outshot in every period, and OSU dominated in the 3rd.
