1. The team points calculation awards 2 points for a winner in either regulation or overtime/shootout and 1 point for a loser in overtime/shootout. Would it be fairer to award the winner of a regulation game 3 points, especially since an overtime game awards 3 total points and overtime and shootout wins are somewhat problematic?

2. When a penalty shot is awarded, should the team awarded the shot have the option of selecting a normal 2 minote (or longer ) penalty instead?
