My brief Lou encounter:

I accompanied my grandmother to an annual retiree luncheon in the JACC. She was one of the old Polish cleaning ladies and had to be the first to arrive. While she was in the restroom, I was at our table in an empty concourse and I see this little guy rushing toward me. It was unmistakably Lou. I thought maybe he was in a hurry, but I'm pretty sure he always had a lot of energy and just always zipped around. He walked right by me. I said "How you doing, coach?". He shook my hand, patted me on the back, asked how I was and quickly went on his way. There were tables and chairs set up all over. I was at table toward the middle near the front. There was no logic behind the path he took to get to where he was going other than to interact with me. He could have easily avoided me. It made my day.
