They surprised Coquese at her introductory press conference as Rutgers coach.
I didn't realize how close they were with Coach W.
It is great to see. Looks like the article misidentified Nat as Kylee though.

And a nj.com story with lots of pics of ND players

geesh, were there any Rutgers players there?

That said, ND program comes off looking very gracious and classy.

players decided to do. Also, doesn't hurt to see how many former Notre Dame players are excelling in the WNBA. In addition, Maya's performance this past season also is eye catching. Lastly, Washington taking over the Rutgers program says something. Lot's to promote for recruiting.

..and during the brief time we saw her on the court, she looked good. Yes, a work in progress, but lots to like.

article said it was Kylee Watson (Linwood, N.J.) who didn't play for her. Plus they didn't get Mabrey right (graduate guard Dara Marbrey Belmar, N.J.)
Looks like sloppy journalism.

Wonder Where Soni Is/Was?

Dara's really close to Rutgers (Belmar/Manasquan).
'Liv's not that far away in Phillipsburg.
But kudos to Nat for coming from Queens. If she went over the Verrazano and Goethels/Outerbridge, she's tough.

Soni's up the Garden State, then over the Hudson, but maybe she had a conflict. And, truth be told, Michaela's her position coach (not that it stopped Nat).
