by 1 point (96-95). Jackie and KMac played most minutes for their respective teams starting, but neither shot that well (KMac 5/12-11 pts, JY 5/15 13 pts), but Jess came off the bench for the 2nd straight game, but was a beast: 22 points (9/11), 19 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 block in only 28 minutes. Still not enough to overcome Wilson's 25 pts and Plums 21 pts.
I'm not quite sure what she's doing coming off the bench, unless her coach thinks she can spell two different positions. However, she's had two fine efforts in doing so. And come to think of it, her experience at ND (center in 2017-18, power forward in 2017-18) kind of confirms that.
She outrebounded the Aces' front line by herself last night 19-17 -- in 28 minutes.
Credit where credit is due, too: Moriah Jefferson also had her best game in years.,,23 pts (10-14 shooting, 7 assists) Still, at the end of the day, the Aces take the win. Dearica Hamby and A'ja Wilson are a solid 1-2 combination up front.

Last night, Jessica Shepard joined Lisa Leslie as just the second player in WNBA history to collect 22+pts/19+ reb/6+ast in a single game(the first since 2002).
Shepard joined Maya Moore as the second player in team history to pass the 15+pts/15+reb/5+ast threshold in one game.
attack where she thinks she'll turn the game depending on match-ups. That 1 pt loss at Vegas may have been their best game since KMac had her 1st game coming back from Turkey when she scored 24 in a win at LA. Their only other 2 wins are against the Liberty. Next 2 games KMac/Jess get Sky/Bri to see if they can turn their season around from being the WNBA cellar dweller.
