It's just a guess but last year the men's tournament Elite 8 games on Saturday were held at 6:00 pm and 8:30 pm. My guess is that ESPN would prefer not to go head-to-head with the men's games as much as possible (and that's why the spotlight game on ABC is UConn vs tOSU at 4:00 pm) so by starting at 11:30 am they should be able to finish the schedule for the day by 8:00 pm and only have one overlapping game with the men's tournament.
