- I'm not saying the coach isn't a good fit for this team, but you could say the same about two or three previous coaches and they all come up short.
Why?
- The GM has parlayed perhaps the most draft choices in the league into a team that always has too many of players at one position and not enought at another. Right now, they're loaded in the front court and short at point guard, having cut or traded two point guards to the Connecticut Sun (Ty Harris and Valerie Burton). A few years ago, they had Marina Mabey, Alisha Grey and Arike -- now, just Arike. And now they have Howard, Satou Sabally and Big T up front. A little diversification could help in personnel decisions.
- My gut is the song will remain the same until Bibb goes. Dallas ownership wants to move from Arlington to downtown Dallas. If that's the case, I'd blow it up with a new GM, who can choose his/her own coach and deal with three expansion teams coming into the league and a new CBA.
