And I guess the real question - Does she have any interest?

I would think that it is a significant recruiting advantage (enjoyed by Geno and Dawn Staley and others). And I would think with this past years success and notoriety and Muffet's COY awards, she would have to be under future consideration.

I think USA Basketball wants you to be an assistant before you become head coach.
Geno was a national team assistant before he was the head coach. And, he was an assistant after he won his first 2 national championships.
Dawn Staley is the current head coach. She's been coaching in USA basketball for over 10 years.
