The FIBA 3x3 World Cup will take place from June 8-12 in Manila, Philippines.Interesting note in the release:
"Up until this point, USA Basketball has never sent a 3x3 team to the World Cup consisting of college players all from one team. In the past, a mix of top players from around the country was sent, but that was before the Ducks rolled through the national championship with an undefeated record. USA Basketball's mixed team of Notre Dame guard Arike Ogunbowale, Louisville guard Asia Durr, Connecticut forward Napheesa Collier and Cal forward Kristine Anigwe, finished third at the national championship with a 5-2 record."

Considering the sport of 3x3 basketball was recently added to the Olympics, with competition beginning in Tokyo for the 2020 summer games, I wonder how they will choose that Olympic team. Hebard, Ionescu, and Boley will still have been playing together for two more years right before that Olympics. If they are successful in the Phillipines the team chemistry may be a consideration.
