Arike 's 30 point effort against Louisville moved her past Katryna Gaither into the third spot on the all time scoring list. She's on track to become ND's top scorer sometime next month -- and she'll do it even though her per game scoring is down a bit from earlier in the season.

Arike averaged 24.3 points per game over the first eight games of the season. She averaged 19.8 shots per game with an overall field goal percentage of 43.7%, 50% from two, and just 28.2% from three. She also hit 76.3% of her free throws in the first half of the season.

Over the last eight games, Arike's shots per game are down to 13.6 and her scoring average has dipped to 20.9 points. However, her shooting has improved to 56.9% from the field including 34.8% from three and 62.8% from inside the arc. Her free throw shooting is also up to 85.4%.

Arike has not only become a more efficient scorer as she’s taken a third fewer shots per game over the second half of the season, she has also upped her playmaking. Her assists per game are up to 5.3 from 3.6 and her assist to turnover ratio is 1.9 over the last eight games vs 1.5 in the first eight combined.
